DNA do Crime
Criminal Code

In the series DNA do Crime, I worked on multiple action shots, handling the full development of 3D assets, technical animations, explosion simulations, and 3D rendering for final compositing.

I developed additional vehicle assets to expand large-scale scenes, performing hard surface modeling, look development, creation of materials and shaders, and rigging to enable realistic animation. The animation process accounted for weight, dynamics, and environment interaction, ensuring seamless integration with live-action footage.

I was also responsible for the complete animation of a machine gun and a helicopter, building the assets from modeling through technical rigging. This allowed precise control of moving parts, recoil behavior, rotor rotation, and mechanical performance during action sequences.

On the VFX side, I developed and simulated multiple explosion effects, focusing on scale, dynamics, lighting interaction, and environmental impact. Several of these explosions were fully simulated by me, ensuring both artistic control and physical credibility. All elements were processed through 3D rendering optimized for compositing integration, maintaining consistency in light, shadow, particles, and volumetrics.

The final result enhanced the scale and intensity of the series’ action sequences while maintaining technical realism and cinematic impact.
