In the film Chuck Billy and the Marvelous Guava Tree, I was responsible for the full development of the 3D seed asset, handling modeling, texturing, animation, and rendering for final compositing.
The process began with building the seed asset, ensuring visual consistency with the film’s universe and careful attention to organic shapes and proportions. I developed materials and textures that conveyed natural realism, exploring subtle surface variations, depth, and light response.
During the animation phase, I focused on the seed’s behavior in the scene, conveying weight, narrative intention, and emotional integration within the story moment. Each movement was carefully crafted to enhance the symbolic impact of the sequence.
Finally, I handled the rendering process with a strong focus on compositing integration, ensuring consistent lighting, shadows, and environment interaction, allowing the digital element to blend seamlessly into the final cinematic result.
