In the series Anderson “Spider” Silva, on Paramount+, I worked as a 3D artist and VFX artist on the visual development of the main fight scenes, with a strong focus on realism, scale, and integration between digital environments and live-action footage. My role was centered on the complete development of the 3D arena where the fights take place, from modeling and texturing to final rendering and compositing.

I was responsible for modeling the structure of the 3D arena, developing materials and textures, and building the full crowd simulation workflow. This included creating and integrating digital characters, variations of 3D animation, and strategically distributing the audience to achieve visual density and cinematic credibility. The goal was to recreate the energy of a major sporting event while maintaining full technical control over framing and scene depth.

After developing the environments and digital crowds, I produced the final 3D renders for later integration with live-action footage. This process made it possible to expand the scale of the fights, enhance the arena atmosphere, and ensure that lighting, perspective, and visual composition worked seamlessly with the filmed material. The result is an immersive visual experience where VFX and audiovisual production come together to strengthen the narrative and intensity of the journey of one of the greatest names in MMA history.
