In the film Primeiro Natal do Mundo, I was responsible for the creation and animation of the crowd for the event called Festiverso, developing the digital crowd that expands the scale and energy of the sequence.
The process involved building 3D characters, creating variations in modeling and look development, and organizing assets to ensure visual diversity and stylistic consistency within the film’s universe.
During the crowd animation phase, I developed collective behavior considering rhythm, character interaction, spatial distribution, and camera readability. The goal was to create an organic and believable crowd, avoiding noticeable repetition while maintaining natural motion.
I also handled 3D rendering and integration, ensuring consistent lighting, shadows, and environmental interaction, allowing the crowd to blend seamlessly with live-action footage and enhance the event’s cinematic scale.
